How to prevent collision of CNC automatic drilling machines for large gantry drilling machines

release time:2023-11-21

1. When looking at the program, first check if the program name is correct, and it should be consistent with the parts processed by oneself

2. Looking at the workpiece coordinates, the screen displays the machine coordinate system coordinates of the current tool, the remaining values of the workpiece coordinate system coordinates, and other numerical values. During automatic machining, the focus is on the displayed coordinate values and residual values of the workpiece. The workpiece coordinates are the position of the tool tip relative to the workpiece, and the residual values are the remaining distance from the tool tip to the target point.

3. Looking at the position of the tool tip, the contour of a CNC automatic drilling machine requires the trajectory of the tool tip. Looking at the position of the tool tip is to see the position of the tool tip relative to the workpiece. During the machining process, the three aspects are the same, especially the workpiece coordinates and tool tip positions. It is necessary to observe whether the tool tip position is consistent with the actual workpiece coordinates, whether the distance between the tool tip and the workpiece matches the displayed residual value, and whether it can collide with the workpiece or chuck, If there is a significant difference between the tool tip and the displayed value, the program should be immediately stopped, reset and shut down, and exit the tool. Check and analyze the cause of the error.

4. Single break execution of the SBL execution function. During the automatic machining process, after each program segment is executed, the machining action needs to be paused. To continue executing the program, the tool needs to press the cycle start button. Through single break execution, sufficient time is provided for the operator to view the program coordinates and tool tip time, in order to prevent collision accidents caused by errors

5. Low magnification, CNC automatic drilling machines have feed rate adjustment knobs or buttons on the panel, and low magnification mainly reduces the feed rate of the tool during the machining process.

6. Once stopped, multiple pauses should be made during the automatic machining process. The operator who pauses should have sufficient preparation to observe and compare the consistency of the tool tip and screen coordinate display, in order to prevent panic and errors during operation.
