1. Different from the structural level: CNC machining centers have at least three axis control, while CNC lathes are processed with two axis control.




2. From the perspective of cutting tools: CNC machining centers have tool libraries, and CNC tool holders are used for CNC lathes. The classification of CNC machining center tool libraries is much better than that of CNC CNC lathe tool holders, including disc type, cap type, chain type, flying saucer type, synchronous type, etc. Most tool libraries have large capacity tools, CNC lathes, tool holders, and tool capacities.




3. Distinguishing machining range: CNC machining centers have a larger machining range than CNC CNC lathes. CNC CNC lathes are mainly used for machining rotating parts.




4. Distinguishing programming scope: The programming of CNC machining centers and CNC CNC lathes is similar in some aspects, but the programming of CNC machining centers is relatively complex.




In terms of application, CNC machining can greatly reduce the number of tools, and processing complex shaped parts does not require complex tools. For example, in order to change the shape and size of a part, we only need to modify the part processing program that is suitable for new product development and modification. We can handle complex surfaces that are difficult to handle with traditional methods, and even some unobserved processed parts. Stable processing quality, high processing accuracy, and high repeatability meet the requirements of aircraft processing.
